Global Investment Institute congratulates Qing Ding on her appointment to the Head of Portfolio Strategy and Research role at NZ Super Fund.
The NZ Super Fund invests Government capital contributions, and the returns, to contribute to the cost of paying superannuation later. The Fund has more than NZ$90 billion in assets.
Qing rejoins the NZ Super Fund from ANZ, where she most recently served as Head of Asset Allocation. Prior to that, Qing spent over seven years at NZ Super Fund, most recently as Portfolio Manager - Tactical Credit, having joined the fund as Senior Investment Strategist, Asset Allocation in 2017.
Previously, Qing held senior roles at the Government Superannuation Authority and Westpac NZ.
Qing holds a Bachelor of Economics, Money and Finance from the Victoria University of Wellington and is a CFA charterholder.
