Global Investment Institute congratulates Rob Pereira on his promotion to Senior Portfolio Manager, Strategic Asset Allocation at Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC).
VFMC is a public authority responsible for investing for the benefit of Victorians. VFMC manage funds of more than A$95 billion on behalf of 31 Victorian public authorities and related organisations.
Prior to his promotion, Rob served as Senior Manager, Portfolio Solutions for nearly six years. He joined VFMC in 2009, as the Head of Investment Consulting.
Before that, Rob held various roles at Russell Investments, Centuria Capital Group, Financial Standard, BlackRock, Invesco Australia, La Trobe University, and Colonial First State.
Rob holds a Doctor of Philosophy, Econometrics and Quantitative Finance from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Arts, Economics from The University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Economics, with Honours, from La Trobe University.
