Lucas is the former Head of Equities, Fixed Income and Alternatives of NGS Super. During his time at NGS Super he was responsible for managing A$10 billion of the Fund’s A$15+ billion on behalf of its 115,000+ members. Lucas finished his tenure with the Fund in July 2024.

During his 8+ years with the Fund, Lucas was responsible for manager selection, portfolio construction, derivative overlays, ESG engagement and implementing the Fund’s decarbonisation objectives.

Prior to NGS, Lucas worked on the derivatives desk at UniCredit in London and Munich, specialising in the creation of warrants and structured products on baskets of mutual funds, ETFs, hedge funds and algorithmic strategies.

Lucas is the Founder & CEO of BeanTree Advisors, a company he is currently in the process of launching.
