Global Investment Institute congratulates Tassie Brakenridge on her appointment to the Director, Equities role at Funds SA.
Funds SA is an Adelaide-based investment management partner for South Australian public sector superannuation funds and approved authorities, with ~A$50 billion in assets under management.
Funds SA Chief Executive Officer, John Piteo said: “As we continue to strengthen our investment capability, we have taken the decision to re-establish the role of Director, Equities to provide dedicated leadership for two of our largest asset classes. The role reflects the significance of equities within our overall investment strategy and our commitment to delivering strong, sustained and competitive investment outcomes for our clients over the long term.”
Most recently, Tassie served as APAC Product Strategy Sustainability Lead for Fundamental Equity at BlackRock, having joined the firm in 2020. Prior to that, Tassie held various roles at The Cambridge Strategy.
Tassie holds a Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering, with Honours, and a Bachelor of Finance, both from the University of Adelaide. She is also a CFA Charterholder.
