Investment Team senior appointments at NZ Super Fund

April 2026

The NZ Super Fund has announced three new senior appointments to the investment team.

The NZ Super Fund invests Government capital contributions, and the returns, to contribute to the cost of paying superannuation later. The Fund has ~NZ$90 billion in assets under management.

The new appointments are as follows:

  • Sian Orr - Director, Private Equity, who was recently Portfolio Manager, Private Equity, having joined the fund in 2019.

  • Bryan Bennet - Director, Real Assets, who was recently Portfolio Manager - Direct Investments, having joined the fund in 2016.

  • Chris Parks - Director, Sustainable Investment, who was most recently ESG Portfolio Integration at Cbus.

With some 20 years on the investment team between them, Sian and Bryan have been involved in some of the Fund’s most important investments as portfolio managers and in governance roles, while Chris brings two decades experience in climate and sustainability research and as an Impact Investment Principal and portfolio manager.

Our congratulations to each of them and best wishes for continued success to the team at NZ Super Fund.
