Global Investment Institute congratulates Ligia Zevallos on her appointment to the Portfolio Manager, Hedge Funds role at Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC).
VFMC is a public authority responsible for investing for the benefit of Victorians. VFMC manage funds of more than ~A$103 billion for Victoria and 32 Victorian public authorities and related organisations.
Most recently, Ligia served as Associate Portfolio Manager, Equity Insights and Exposure Management at HESTA, having joined the fund in 2018.
Prior to that, Ligia held various roles at CCI Asset Management, Schroders, Pantheon Ventures and Catholic Church Insurance.
Ligia holds a Bachelor of Business, Finance and Economics from the Auckland University of Technology and a Graduate Diploma, Data Science from UNSW Sydney.
