Global Investment Institute congratulates Tim Kennedy on his appointment to the Chief Executive Officer role at First Super.
First Super is an Australian superannuation fund with ~A$6 billion in assets under management and nearly 80,000 members.
Tim will commence in his new role on 5 October 2026. Most recently, Tim served as National Secretary at the United Workers Union.
Prior to that, Tim was the chair and deputy chair, as well as director of LUCRF Super between 2004 and 2022, also serving on the investment committee and chair of the audit and risk committee.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Law, with Honours, from La Trobe University. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts, with Honours, and a Master of Arts in International Relations & Politics, both from Monash University.
