Global Investment Institute congratulates Maaike van Tol on her promotion to Head of Risk at New Zealand Superannuation Fund (NZ Super Fund).
The NZ Super Fund invests Government capital contributions, and the returns, to contribute to the cost of paying superannuation later. The Fund has more than NZ$70 billion in assets.
Prior to her promotion, Maaike served as Director, Portfolio Design at NZ Super Fund. Before that, she spent almost nine years at ANZ, most recently as Head of Asset Allocation, Co-Head of Diversified Portfolio Management.
Maaike’s earlier career includes roles at NN Investment Partners, IMC Trading and ABN AMRO Bank.
Maaike holds a Bachelor of Technology with First Class Honours, Industrial Mathematics from the University of Auckland.
