Global Investment Institute congratulates Simon Warner on his appointment to the Chief Investment Officer role at Aware Super.
Aware Super manages a ~A$200 billion portfolio on behalf of the Fund’s 1.2 million members.
Simon will commence in the Chief Investment Officer role at Aware Super on 1 December 2025.
Aware Super’s Chief Executive Officer, Deanne Stewart, said: “Simon has demonstrated exceptional leadership during his two years at Aware Super, contributing to our track record of delivering outstanding returns for members.”
Simon joined Aware Super in 2023 as Head of Portfolio Management. Before that, Simon held senior executive roles at AMP Capital and JP Morgan Chase.
Simon holds a Bachelor and Masters of Science in Economics, both from the London School of Economics, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of New South Wales.
