Global Investment Institute congratulates Matt Wacher on his appointment to the Chief Investment Officer role at JANA Investment Advisers.
JANA is an investment advisory firm with over ~A$1.6tn funds under advice. They advise over 80 institutional clients, including corporations, charities, endowment funds, foundations, Government, superannuation funds, insurers, family offices and other trusts.
Matt will commence in his new role on 19 May and joins from Morningstar Investment Management, where he held the Chief Investment Officer, Asia Pacific position.
Previously, Matt was Chief Investment Officer at Cambooya and prior to that, he held various senior roles at Qantas Superannuation Limited, Russell Investments and CMC Markets.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts, Media & Communications from UNSW and a Master’s degree in Strategy & Finance from AGSM at the UNSW Business School.
