Global Investment Institute congratulates Rachel O’Connor on her promotion to the Head of Fixed Income, Credit & Cash role at Rest.
Rest is one of Australia's largest profit-to-member superannuation funds with ~A$105 billion in assets under management and more than 2 million members.
Most recently, Rachel served as Senior Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income at Rest, having joined the fund in 2021. Prior to that, Rachel held various roles at U Ethical Investors, Vanguard, UBS, ING Investment Management and ANZ.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Economics from The University of Queensland, a Bachelor of Business, Accountancy from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA. She is also a CFA charterholder.
