Global Investment Institute congratulates William Fletcher on his appointment to the Head of Private Equity & Alternative Investments role at NZ Super Fund.
The NZ Super Fund invests Government capital contributions, and the returns, to contribute to the cost of paying superannuation later. The Fund has ~NZ$90 billion in assets under management.
William will commence in his new role on 25 August 2026. He currently serves as Portfolio Manager at Fisher Funds.
Prior to that, William held various roles at Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Carlyle AlpInvest and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
William holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts and Master of Engineering Management all from the University of Canterbury.
