Global Investment Institute congratulates Bill Watson on his appointment to the Chief Investment Officer role at BUSSQ.
BUSSQ is an Australian industry superannuation fund with ~A$7 billion in assets under management and ~74,000 members.
Most recently, Bill served as Chief Executive Officer at First Super for nearly 13 years.
Previously, Bill was Principal at Evans and Peck and before that, he held various senior positions at Monkey’s Fist, Statewide Superannuation, TransAdelaide, Sydney Ferries and Adsteam Marine. Throughout his career, Bill has been a director of media, transport and logistics companies and a trustee director of corporate and industry funds.
Bill holds a Master of Applied Finance from Charles Sturt University, a Graduate Diploma of Human Factors and Safety Management Systems from the University of South Australia, a Bachelor of Law from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Certificate in IT (Cyber) from Charles Sturt University.
