Global Investment Institute congratulates Alex Bacchus on his promotion to the Head of Asset Allocation role at NZ Super Fund.
The NZ Super Fund invests Government capital contributions, and the returns, to contribute to the cost of paying superannuation later. The Fund has ~NZ$94 billion in assets under management.
Prior to his promotion, Alex served as Head of Strategic Tilting at NZ Super Fund, having joined the fund in 2009.
Previously, Alex held various roles at Goldman Sachs JBWere and Merrill Lynch.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Civil Engineering from the University of Canterbury and a Master of Science, Mathematics from the City St George’s, University of London.
