Global Investment Institute congratulates Céline Whiting on her promotion to the role of Senior Portfolio Manager, Credit at Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC).
VFMC is a public authority responsible for investing for the benefit of Victorians. VFMC manage funds of more than A$95 billion on behalf of 31 Victorian public authorities and related organisations.
Prior to her promotion, Céline served as Portfolio Manager, Credit for five years. She joined VFMC in 2015, initially in the role of Fixed Income & Absolute Returns – External Mandates, Senior Analyst.
Before that, Céline held the position of Fixed Interest, Cash and Currency Portfolio Manager at Vanguard Investments Australia for nearly nine years.
Céline holds a Bachelor of Business, Banking and Finance from Monash University and a Masters of Applied Finance, Investment Management from Macquarie University.
