Global Investment Institute congratulates Chris Drew on his promotion to the Head of Equities, External Mandates role at Rest.
Rest is one of Australia's largest profit-to-member superannuation funds with ~A$105 billion in assets under management and more than 2 million members.
Most recently, Chris served as Head of Portfolio Construction, External Equities at Rest, having joined the fund in 2021.
Prior to that, Chris held various roles at Australian Catholic Superannuation, Sunsuper, Energy Industries Superannuation Scheme and FuturePlus Financial Services.
Previously, Sonia Bluzmanis held the role Head of Research, External Equities and she has now been promoted to Head of Strategic Partnerships, Investments.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science, Management Science, with Honours, from Swansea University and a Graduate Diploma, Applied Finance and Investments from Financial Services Institute of Australiasia.
