Institutional listed equities investment leaders from around Australia gathered in Melbourne on 2 September 2026 for Global Investment Institute’s biannual Equities Investment Forum.

Highlighting the valued contribution of the institutional capital allocators who shared their perspectives at the Equities Investment Forum, Global Investment Institute’s Founder and Managing Director, Zlatan Kapetanovic said:
“I’m grateful to our thoughtful Investor Panellists for sharing their insights so generously with their peers: Myooran Mahalingam, Head of Equity Manager Selection and Portfolio Construction, Cbus Super Fund; Jan Harrop, Associate Portfolio Manager, Equities, Australian Retirement Trust; Alexander Ng, Investment Manager, ESSSuper and Adam Deering, Portfolio Manager, Managed Equities, Aware Super.”
Now hosted twice a year, in Sydney each March and Melbourne each September, the Equities Investment Forums have become the go-to gatherings for busy capital allocators looking to connect with peers and make the most of their time away from the desk.
“The feedback we consistently hear across all asset classes and investor segments is that it’s the combination of quality content, thoughtful interactivity, and convenience, that sets our events apart. A central CBD location makes it easy for investors to attend, engage meaningfully, still be back with their families in the evening, and back at work again the next day,” said Global Investment Institute’s Founder and Managing Director, Zlatan Kapetanovic.
“These are investors without a spare minute in their day, so we design the program accordingly: focused, relevant and highly interactive, with content and conversations that deliver genuine value for the time they invest in attending. They commit to the day, and we commit to delivering the quality of content they deserve.
“We know it’s about making every hour away from the desk count, and we are delighted that our programs are resonating and delivering value to these incredible investment leaders.”
Next year, Global Investment Institute will host two of these special events:
Tuesday, 16 March 2027 – Sydney
Thursday, 2 September 2027 – Melbourne
